A laborious yet exciting quest led me to discover what I have done wrong regarding focus. Following I have listed some check points I shall follow to control my outcome. I have been practicing since midnight last night photographically obsessed with the final print. The list is as follows in short:
PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY CHECKLIST:
- BATTERIES
- SD CARDS
- CAMERA IS ON TRIPOD
- NON-CPU LENS DATA
- LENS
- FOCAL LENGTH
- APERTURE F-STOP
- LIVE VIEW FROM CAMERA BACK
- RED FOCUS BOX
- FOCUS
- ISO
- WB
- SHUTTER SPEED
- VIEW FINDER FOCUS DIAL (IF NECESSARY)
- VIRTUAL HORIZON IS ON
These checkpoints grant me access to finer images I hope will render better prints. One does not photograph on Automatic once Manual techniques have been discovered. Automatic is no longer faithful.
